Two text programs
Peppermint Hippo Las Vegas runs two separate text programs. Guest Texts go to guests who book online. Club Flow Operational Alerts go to people who work with the venue. Nobody is texted without opting in, and nobody is added to either program by the other.
1 · Guest Texts — who receives them
Guests 21 and older who book a guest-list spot or a package on our online booking page. Because the venue serves alcohol, the booking page asks for a full date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY) before it shows any package, any pricing or the text consent box. A guest under 21 is turned away and nothing further is shown. The date of birth is checked in the guest’s own browser and is not sent to us or stored.
Are you 21 or older? Peppermint Hippo Las Vegas serves alcohol. Enter your date of birth to continue. We don’t keep it.
Under 21: “You must be 21 or older. Booking and text messages are for guests 21 and over only.” Nothing else on the page is shown.
1 · Guest Texts — how a guest opts in
Reservation texts. A separate, unticked checkbox directly under the mobile number field: “Text me my pass and reminders for this reservation from Peppermint Hippo Las Vegas. 1 to 3 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” Only guests who tick it are texted their pass link and reminders; everyone else sees the pass on screen and nothing is texted. These texts are about the booking the guest just made, with STOP and HELP instructions in every message.
Offers and events. A separate, unticked checkbox on the same form. Only guests who tick it receive promotional texts, at most four a month. Ticking it is never required to book.

Proof of consent. Each booking stores the guest’s name, mobile number, the night, the package, the time of booking, and which of the two boxes was ticked and when, with the pass link we texted. A guest who ticks the offers box receives a welcome text at once (program name, up to 4 a month, rates, HELP, STOP). Opt-outs are suppressed immediately.

Pass: “Peppermint Hippo Las Vegas: Alex, your pass for Fri, Oct 31 at 10:00 PM (2 guests) is here: [link] — show it at the door. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Offer (only after the box is ticked): “Peppermint Hippo Las Vegas: this Friday, free entry for you and a friend before midnight with this text. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
2 · Club Flow Operational Alerts — who receives them
Only people who work with the venue — employees, managers, and registered affiliates (drivers and promoters) — and only after they have expressly opted in. This program never texts guests and never sends marketing.
2 · Club Flow Operational Alerts — how a person opts in
By text only. An employee, manager or registered affiliate opts in by texting JOIN to (888) 465-6169 from their own mobile phone. Nobody is added any other way: no form, no list, no number typed in by a manager. The invitation is posted where staff and affiliates see it — the staff room notice below, the onboarding packet, and the Club Flow manuals — and joining is optional and never a condition of employment, registration or payment.

The confirmation text. The moment JOIN arrives, this message goes back, before any other message is ever sent:
“Peppermint Hippo Las Vegas: You're signed up for Club Flow operational alerts (shift notices, payout-ready notices, door codes, system alerts). Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
Proof of consent. Every JOIN, STOP and HELP received on the number is logged with the sender's number, the keyword and the time, for as long as the person participates. A number that has not texted JOIN is never messaged.
How anyone opts out
Reply STOP to any message (one final confirmation is sent, then nothing further), reply HELP for assistance, or ask any manager. Numbers that opt out are suppressed immediately.
